ADDSEC

Allows multiple securities to be added to the Security Master Database.

1. At the Portvue menu, type ADDSEC

The following message will appear:

(0) NEW SECURITIES TO BE ADDED TO THE SUPPLEMENTAL SECURITY FILE
(1) SEDOL/
(2) CUSIP ISSUE CLSEP INDIV TICK DESCRIPTION
(3) --------- ----- ----- ----- ----- --------------------
(4)

2. Enter the appropriate data, separating each field with a space
3. After you have typed the data for each of the fields, press Enter ↵. Then type (Q and press Enter ↵

The data will appear again on the screen, aligned with the appropriate field headings.

If any of the data is incorrect, use the arrow keys to move the cursor to the appropriate field and type over the incorrect data. Then press Enter ↵.

4. Type (Q again
5. Press Enter ↵ to exit the function
