Used to process dividend reinvestment trades.

1. Type DVRAUTO and press Enter ↵

The following will appear:

SEARCH FOR WHAT?

2. Type the account selection for which you want to reinvest dividends and press Enter ↵

The following will appear:

NEXT OPERATION (HIT RETURN WHEN DONE, OR TYPE HELP):

3. Type the additional commands to broaden, narrow or sort the account selection and press Enter ↵

The following will appear:

ENTER SACUS, CUSIP, TICKER, OR #POOL (RETURN TO QUIT)

4. Type the CUSIP, SACUS or TICK of the security for which you are reinvesting the dividend and press Enter ↵

The following will appear:

Enter Ex-Date - HIT ENTER FOR CURPRDATE:

5. Type the ex-distribution date for the transaction and press Enter ↵

The following will appear:

Enter Pay-Date - HIT ENTER FOR CURPRDATE :

6. Type the pay date for the dividend and press Enter ↵

The following will appear:

Enter Dividend Per Share :

7. Type the amount of the dividend to be paid per share and press Enter ↵

Note: The dividend amount is multiplied times the number of shares held on ex-date. This amount will be the cost of the `reinvested' shares.

The following prompt will appear:

Enter Price--HIT ENTER FOR EX-DATE PRICE (XX.xx)

(XX.xx) is the price of the security on the ex-date.

8. Type the price of the security that should be used for the reinvested shares and press Enter ↵

This price is used to determine how many shares can be purchased from the dividend amount.

After answering all of the prompts, a trades batch will be created.

9. To exit and save data, type (Q and press Enter ↵

The following will appear:

WOULD YOU LIKE TO POST THIS BATCH NOW?

10. Type Y and press Enter ↵ to post the batch. Type N and press Enter ↵ to not post the batch

If the batch is posted, a message will appear due to the DVR entered for the Broker in the batch.

11. Type Y to post transfer the batch

A DIVRNV entry will be posted on EDGL for the dividend amount. The description lets you know this was a reinvested dividend. It also includes the batch number and the date the batch was created/posted.
