EDINDEX

Links a client's SNAM of an index provided by Frank Russell to the short description for updating purposes.

1. At the Portvue menu, type EDINDEX

The following screen will appear:

2. Using the RETURN key, map the SNAM to the appropriate Index name
3. To exit and save, hit F10

The following screen will appear verifying that you want to save the changes that were made.

4. Answer YES if you want to save mapping. Answer NO if you do not

If you answer NO, you will have a chance to make additional changes. If there are no changes to be made, hit F3 to exit. You will be prompted to verify whether or not you want to exit without saving. Answer accordingly.
