POSTDIVS

Allows cash dividend payments to be posted to the general ledger.

1. At the Portvue menu, type POSTDIVS

The following will appear:

BEGINNING DATE (MM/DD/YY) - HIT ENTER FOR CURPRDATE :

2. Enter the beginning date from which to begin posting

The following will appear:

ENDING DATE (MM/DD/YY)

3. Enter the ending date for posting

The following will appear:

SEARCH FOR WHAT?

4. Enter the account selection

The system will post all dividends that were to be posted for the specified time frame.
