COMBONYC

Allows two or more accounts to be copied into a single account.

1. At the Portvue menu, type COMBONYC

The following prompt will appear:

SEARCH FOR WHAT?

2. Type in the SNAM or SNAMs you would like to combine

The following will appear:

EXPERT <= BILL,ANEKWE,CAROL,KASSDA,JONESC,MAUREE
SURE YOU WANT TO COMBINE THESE ACCOUNTS ?

3. Type YES to combine the accounts. Otherwise, type NO

If you answer YES, the data in EDPORT and EDGL files will be combined into files for the one account. You can now run reports on the combined account.

If you answer NO, you will be returned to the Portvue menu prompt.

Note: Depending on your reason for combining the accounts, you may want to remove the line in EDDESPCT so that the accounts will not be combined again and possibly overwrite any changes that were made to the combined account.
