EDAC

Allows Client Master fields to be edited for multiple accounts.

1. At the Portvue menu, type EDAC

The following will appear:

SEARCH FOR WHAT?

2. Type in the account identifier for accounts to view or edit

Here are some examples:

MGR EQ XRZ
CHARAC EQ INDEX
RR EQ 1

The following will appear:

NEXT OPERATION (HIT RETURN WHEN DONE, OR TYPE HELP):

3. Enter an additional command, such as SORT, narrow your search by using OR or AND, or press Enter

If you choose to sort, you will be prompted for the account master field to sort by and the order by which to sort, ascending or descending.

If you choose to narrow your search, you will be prompter to enter in additional search criteria.

The following will appear:

EDIT WHICH FIELDS: (? TO LIST FIELDS, RET TO QUIT):

4. Type the names of the fields to view or edit
5. Use the arrow keys to move to the field to edit
6. To exit and save changes made, type (Q, twice. If no changes were made, you will only have to type (Q once

The following will appear:

EDIT WHICH FIELDS: (? TO LIST FIELDS, RET TO QUIT):

7. Enter in additional fields to edit or view or press Enter to exit
