EDPORT
EDPORT allows you to edit multiple account portfolios.
1. At the Portvue menu, type EDPORT.
The following prompt will appear:
SEARCH FOR WHAT?
2. Enter a search command to retrieve the account or group of accounts you want.
The following prompt will appear:
NEXT OPERATION (HIT RETURN TO CONTINUE).
3. Enter other database commands or press Enter.
The following message will appear:
SELECTION FOR SNAM: SAMPLE WINDOW DEFINED AS: 00/00/00 TO 07/31/88
4. Type the tick(s), cusip(s) or sacus(es) for the securities you want to edit.
Try to avoid bringing up an entire account (by pressing Enter). Instead, ask for a specific security by either tick, cusip or sacus.
The first level of EDPORT will appear with the following information:
(0) SNAM: BAKER ACNUM: 0
(1) TRANS TICK SACUS UNITS PDATE COST SDATE PROC

To move to the second level, type (M or (L2.

To move to the third level, type (M or (L3.

5. Use the arrow keys to move the cursor to the fields you want to edit, and type over the incorrect data.
6. To exit and save changes, type (Q twice.

7. To review another security, type Y. To exit the function, type N.
Clients that use the APL Fixed Income functionalities have two additional levels of EDPORT. This enables them to accurately store data on factorable securities, and accurately store amortization data.
The fourth level is needed to store original face amounts for factorable securities.
The fifth level is needed to store amortization data.
