EDITAC

Allows a single account to be viewed and edited, or added, if it is not already included in the Security Master Database.

Note: EDITAC combines the functionality of NEWACCT and SCREENAC.

1. At the Portvue menu, type EDITAC

The following screen will appear:

2. Type in the SNAM, BWNUM or DTCNO for the account to view or edit
3. The following screen will appear prompting you for additional fields to edit. If you do not select YES for additional fields, only the default fields will be displayed on the screen. If you select YES, another screen will appear listing the additional fields to choose from

After selecting additional fields, the following screen will appear:

4. Using the TAB key, move to the fields that you want to edit
5. To exit and save changes made, press F10

If the account you selected is not on the system, you will have the opportunity to add it.

The following screen will appear:

6. Select Yes to add the account

A series of screens will appear prompting you for information.

7. You will be prompted to verify that you want to add the account. If you are sure you want to add the account, select YES. Otherwise, select NO
8. Enter the opening cash balance
9. Enter the opening date for the beginning cash balance

After the account has been set up, you will be prompted for additional fields to edit, as indicated in step # 3.
