Provides details of how a corporate action was processed on APL.
- Type LOOKUPREORG and press
Enter ↵
The selection screen will appear:
- Type the SACUS, CUSIP or TICK for any of the securities involved in the corporate action and press
Enter ↵
The following screen will appear displaying the details of how the corporate action was processed:
| Security | CUSIP number for the security entered at the search selection prompt. The description of the security will appear underneath the CUSIP |
| New Name | Description of the new security |
| As-of Date | Effective date of the corporate action |
| Old Sacus | SACUS number for the original/primary security |
| First New Sacus | SACUS number for the new security |
| Deliver date for Orig. Lots = As-of Date | Date to be used for delivering out the original security. This date is the same date as the As-of date for non-distribution corporate actions. For distributions, the as of date may be different than the pay date. This data populates the DDATE on the second level of EDPORT |
| Deliver Value for Orig. Lots = Orig. Units x. (Market Value of original security on x-date) | Value of the security being delivered out on the as-of date. This value is calculated by multiplying the original units time the market price of the security on the as-of date. |
| New Units for First Sec. Recvd = Orig. Units x | Original units times the number of new units to be received |
| Receive Value for First Sec. Recvd = Orig. Units x. (Market Value of original security on x-date) | The value of the security to be received in. This value is calculated by multiplying the original units time the market value on the as-of date |
| Receive Date for First Sec. Recvd = As-of Date | Date to be used for receiving in the new security |
Note: It should be understood that corporate actions are processed on a 1 per basis as the original unit. For example, if the corporate action was 2 for .5, it would be reflected as 4 for 1 on APL. This is to simplify the program.
The function keys that can be used with this function are:
- F3 / Esc Exit the function
- (F7) Go back to previous screen (when multiple corporate actions were found)
- (F8) Go to the next screen (when multiple corporate actions were found)

If the information is no longer available, mail can be sent to g.reorg.
