POSTSECLOT
Allows lottery conversions to be processed.
Note: It processes the conversion the same way POSTSECCONV processes conversions but does partial allocations.
- Type POSTSECLOT and press

The following will appear:
X-REF FOR OLD SECURITY (ENTER SACUS, TICK, CUSIP):
- Type the security identifier of the original security and press
Enter ↵
The following will appear:
X-REF FOR NEW SECURITY (ENTER SACUS, TICK, CUSIP):
- Type the security identifier for the new security and press
Enter ↵
The following will appear:
AS OF DATE (MM/DD/YY) - HIT ENTER FOR CURPRDATE :
- Type the record date of the transaction and press
Enter ↵
The following will appear:
SEARCH FOR WHAT?
- Type the account identifier for the account(s) for which you are processing the lottery and press
Enter ↵
The following will appear:
NEXT OPERATION (HIT RETURN WHEN DONE, OR TYPE HELP):
- Type the additional commands for sorting or increasing or decreasing the account selection and press
Enter ↵or simply pressEnter ↵
The following will appear:
ENTER PRICE: 22.1875
- Type the price that should be used to calculate the deliver proceeds for the original security and the receive
value of the new security and press Enter ↵.
The following will appear:
ENTER CONVERSION DATE - HIT ENTER FOR CURPRDATE :
- Type the ex-distribution date for the lottery and press
Enter ↵
The following screen will appear displaying the accounts that meet the criteria selected and how many shares of the original security the account owns. You will also see a column where you can enter the number of the old shares to be converted and a column where you can enter the number of shares of the new security to be received.
Using the Tab key, you can move to each column and enter the appropriate information.
- To exit without saving changes, press F3
To exit and save changes, press F10.
The following will appear:
Are You Sure You Want to Exit and Save ?
- If you type No, the following will appear:
Are You Sure You Want to Exit Without Saving ?
To exit the function and not save any changes, type Yes and press Enter ↵ .
To exit and save, type Yes and press Enter ↵.
A trades batch will be created.
- To exit and post transactions, type (Q and press
Enter ↵
The following will appear:
WOULD YOU LIKE TO POST THIS BATCH NOW ?
- Type Yes to post the batch of trades
If you answer No, you will be returned to the security conversion table to make changes. After making changes, press F10 and answer Yes to `Are You Sure You Want to Exit and Save ?'.
Note: The data will be posted to EDPORT in the same manner as the positions that are posted when the function POSTSECONV is run.
Important: All information should be checked before posting the batch. If any changes need to be made because of incorrect information, delete the original batch using DELBATCH and rerun the function.
