Used to process calls and other types of redemptions, as well as, to sell off a security at a specified amount.
- Type POSTTENDER and press

- Type the security identifier of the security for which you are processing the tender and press

- Type the record date for the tender and press

- Type the account identifier of the accounts for which you are processing the tender and press

- Type the additional commands for sorting, increasing or decreasing the account selection and press

The following will appear:
ENTER PRICE:
- Type the price at which the shares will be tendered and press

The following will appear:
ENTER SALE DATE - HIT ENTER FOR CURPRDATE :
- Type the ex-distribution or sale date for the tender and press

The following will appear:
ENTER PERCENT:
- Type the percent of the total position that should be tendered and press

The following will appear:
ACCRUE INTEREST ?
- To post accrued interest for the tendered shares, answer Y for yes and press
Enter ↵. If you do not, type N for no and pressEnter ↵
The following will appear:
Round Tendered Lots ?
- To round the tendered lots, type Y press
Enter ↵. If you do not want to round, type N pressEnter ↵
If you answer YES, the following will appear:
Round Up, Down, or Nearest?
- Enter U, D or N to indicate the rounding method press
Enter ↵
The following will appear:
Round on Tax Lots or Positions
- Enter L or P to indicate the rounding level press
Enter ↵
A trades batch is created with the tender transaction being posted as a close.
- To exit, type (Q and press
Enter ↵
Note: The security is tendered at the price indicated above for the percent of the holding indicated above. The accrued interest should be posted when the holder is entitled to receive the interest that has not been paid.
Important: All information should be checked before posting the batch. If any changes need to be made because of incorrect information, delete the original batch using DELBATCH and rerun the function.
